I required Roscolux 80 for all the scenes that had rain falling onstage, as the light (when layered from multiple lights) helped create the effect of a downpour in the evening. Add to this a followspot on Don Lockwood with Roscolux 310 in it for a "glow" about him and his being in love, and we had the "Singin' in the Rain" song as it should be performed onstage. (Everything but the spot was used in the finale company version as well!)
